» Your tasks

We are looking for a student research assistant to support ongoing projects.

  • The work, depending on the profile and interests of the student, will be focused either on developing the infrastructure for the medical data flows or on the analysis of the medical data
  • You will get an opportunity to learn about FAIR data handling in medical research, architecture of the medical data integration center (MeDIC), biomedical signal processing, communication in collaborative research and domain-specific topics

» Your Profile

  • Student of computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, physics or a related subject
  • Experience in programming with Java and Python
  • Knowledge on working with databases and SQL, REST-interfaces, XML and JSON
  • Understanding of machine learning/data science methods and ideally experience using Pandas, Tensorflow and Pytorch 
  • Strong interest in medical applications and willingness gain domain-specific knowledge
  • Nice to have: basics of signal processing methods
